FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are you fully booked?
My schedule opens one month at a time. I release new appointment slots on the 15th of each month at 10 am for the following month.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. I do not perform microblading on anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a 3D hair stroke technique where fine, hair-like strokes are embedded into the brow area, creating fuller and more defined brows.

What is Microshading?
Microshading provides a more solid, powdered makeup effect for your brows.

Can I combine Microblading and Microshading?
Yes, I offer COMBO brows, which combine both techniques for a more customized look.

Is Microblading an eyebrow tattoo?
Microblading is considered semi-permanent, unlike traditional tattoos. The pigments used are selected to match your natural brow color and are designed to heal true to color, unlike tattoo ink.

How long does the procedure take?
The procedure typically takes about an hour and a half. I schedule enough time to ensure neither you nor I feel rushed.

How long does it last?
Results can last between 1 to 3 years, depending on aftercare and skin type.

Will I need a Touch Up?
Yes. A touch-up is recommended 4-12 weeks after your first session.
After the initial touch-up:
Clients with oily skin should return every 6 months.
Clients with normal/dry skin should return every 12 months.
Touch-ups keep your brows looking fresh!

Why do I need a Touch Up?
Skin type, sun exposure, lifestyle, facial products, diet, etc., all contribute to pigment fading.

Do I need to groom my eyebrows before my appointment?
No. I will take care of any necessary grooming during your session.

Will you shave off my eyebrows?
No. I make every effort to incorporate your natural brow hairs into the new shape. Any stray hairs outside the design will be removed for a cleaner look.

Will I need to pluck/wax/thread my eyebrows after my session?
Yes. Microblading does not prevent hair growth, so you will need to maintain your brows as usual.

Does Microblading work on all skin tones?
Yes! Check out my Instagram feed for examples on a variety of skin tones.

What if I have extremely oily skin?
Microshading is recommended for those with very oily skin.

Will you work over someone else's work?
An assessment is required before I can work on brows that were previously microbladed by another artist. Please send photos of your bare brows to beauty@celinalagi.com before booking your appointment.

How long is the healing process?
Initial healing takes about 7-14 days, and full color development occurs within a month.

Is the procedure painful?
A topical anesthetic is applied to minimize discomfort during the session.

Can I take medication before my appointment?
Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications 24 hours before the procedure.

What if I am required to take antibiotics before dental appointments?
Please follow the instructions provided by your dentist.

Are there additional instructions before my appointment?
Yes. All clients receive an email 24 hours before their appointment with important pre-care instructions.
